Vice President, SEC Operations Services, since 2016

Manages and oversees operation of all electric systems for Southside Electric Cooperative in each of its four districts.  Responsible for ensuring all levels of maintenance of transmission lines, substations, apparatus, and distribution lines.  Fully responsible for oversight of power restoration as well as fleet maintenance for all SEC service vehicles.

Began working in the electric cooperative program for Union Electric Membership Corporation as Load Management Technician (1989 - 1991).

· Promoted to Engineering Technician (1991 -1998).

Worked as Manager of Technical Services for Albemarle Electric Membership Corporation (1998 - 2007).

Selected by Albemarle Electric Membership Corporation to serve as Executive Vice President & General Manager (2007 - 2010).

Served as Manager of Engineering and Operations for Heartland Rural Electric Membership Corporation (2011-2015).

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Certified Key Account Executive (CKAE) with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).

Microsoft Office XP© Master’s Certification.

Received Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the East Coast Polytechnic Institute (2018).

Received Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Elizabeth City State University (2001).

Received Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business Administration from Stanly Community College (1997).

Received Associate in Applied Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Stanly Community College (1989).

Former President of the Rotary Club of Hertford (2003-2011).
